The OctoberFeast apple press is run each year by muscular volunteers, so we can make the most of our locally grown fruit and help to limit food waste.
Lewes FC Supporters Club arranged a Pie & Mash night in the Rook Inn at the Dripping Pan. The evening was a resounding success. We were very impressed with the publicity generated by the OctoberFeast organisers and by the high standard of the brochure.
We are neighbours and have got together to host a pop up supper since they began. We really enjoy the evening and have had great feedback... planning this year's menu already!
The Snowdrop, in Lewes, invited me to do a ‘beer and food dinner’ as part of the Octoberfeast food and drink festival in the town. I hadn’t really wanted to go. But within seconds of arriving, I found myself bitterly regretting that I wasn’t staying overnight.
We are quite amazed, we sold 139 burgers in the first 2 days of our @lewesoctfeast burger festival!
The Street Food Feast was a lovely event. Harveys had their beer wagon set up, a chap was playing a lute (or somesuch exotic instrument) and people were sitting around on beer crates enjoying the wares.
Love your event and proud to offer up our food to the happy Lewes peeps!
